The Program will provide Members with unlimited access to the CareClix™ Solution. Access to the CareClix™ Solution will be available to Members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Under the Program, CareClix™ will connect the Member to a CareClix™ Physician at the time of initial contact.
Members will then be able to access a provider through both telephone and/or internet video with the CareClix™ Solution. Members can request internet video appointments scheduled through CareClix™, a reminder will be provided by CareClix™ and access to the internet video session will be provided through the CareClix website. Telephone and internet video encounters shall be responded to usually within thirty minutes.
The physicians within the CareClix™ Solution are licensed to practice medicine in the state in which the member resides, and are covered by medical malpractice insurance to the extent required by state regulations. Each Physician has undergone our rigorous Training Program and has the ability to perform each of the enhanced services offered by CareClix™ on a proficient level.
Physicians selected by CareClix are all Board Certified or eligible. Physicians in the CareClix™ Solution offer patient care and provide physician services to include symptom assessment, ailment diagnoses, follow-up visits and providing prescriptions for treatment. Care and services are intended to include (a) an assessment of the Members health condition, (b) a review of the Members medical needs, (c) a determination of whether immediate emergency attention is required, and (d) a recommendation of the most appropriate action to be taken by the Member. This action may include prescription of medication as necessary, ordering lab work, or a recommendation that the Member contact a specialist or Member’s primary medical care provider. In the occurrence where immediate medical attention is required, the physician shall direct the Member to the nearest emergency facility.
